Northwest Street Ministries exists to further the work of the great commission, given by Jesus Christ, to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. We have a responsibility as believers to heed the words of our savior, and spread the message of the cross. As Paul said, "Woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!"
Our focus is on the Northwest. This area of the country that we love so much, is also one of the most spiritually dark places in the nation. The need for biblical evangelism here is enormous.
That being the case, we go out into the streets and preach the gospel, and encourage others to do the same. If we are labeled fanatics, then we are fanatics for our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ; who did exactly the same thing, and was labeled far worse things than we have ever been called.
Our hope is to establish a network of born again Christians, with a passion for seeking and saving the lost, and provide resources and training for those looking to start witnessing in their area. There is nothing more important than reaching the millions of people on the broad road to eternal condemnation in Hell with the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

David
David Carnahan is a born and raised Washingtonian with a heart to win souls. His official capacity is Executive Director of our ministry's board. David has been saved for over three years. He is a graduate of the Way of the Master School of Biblical Evangelism and the Ambassador's Academy. David wishes to spend the rest of his days seeking and saving the lost through out the Northwest and around the world.
Michael
Michael Clark is the 'big voice' of the group. He is the ministry's Evangelism Director, and sets our event schedule. Mike has been a born again believer for nine years, and preaching for five of that. He is a seasoned street evangelist, and it is a joy to hear him open-air. Nothing can stop him from spreading the gospel wherever he goes. He often says that he wants to die preaching.
Jay
Jay Price has been a believer for just over a year. God used the faithful ministry of Mike, (his neighbor at the time) to bring about his conversion. Jay recently graduated from the Ambassador's Academy, and has been an integral member of our street team. He is most likely to be seen doing one-to-ones, but he also has been known to open-air. There is no question that Jay seeks to glorify God through the clear preaching of his gospel.
Kris
Kris Kord was given the nickname, 'The Scholar' by the rest of the team. He is often reading three or four theology books at a time. Kris serves our ministry as Web Administrator, and recently as tract designer. He has been a born again believer for two years, and preaching for nearly a year. His love for God and love for people spills over in his open-air sermons. He also is our most avid blogger, and fills our blog with his theological and evangelistic insights.
Scott
Scott Hale hails from Kent Washington, and you will find him preaching faithfully at Kent Station nearly every week. He is a great encouragement to the rest of the team when he preaches. Though the rest of us don't get to 'go fishing' with him often, it is a joy when we do.
